Stephanie Deno was born and raised in Toulame Co. California. Growing up on a ranch is probably
one of the main reasons she specializes in home-style cooking.
In 1959 Stevie wrote and recorded a hit song, " A Thousand Stars In The Sky" under the name of Kathy and the Innocents.
After leaving the recording business, (for a more sane and simple
life) Stevie went to college in Pasadena CA.
She raised three children and then moved to Prescott Arizona where she worked for the city for 12 years.
While in Prescott she became actively involved in the community and in fund-raising for the
Children's hospital.
While being involved in community affairs, Stevie received an award from the city for raising the most money for the local food
bank in 1997.
Stevie and her husband relocated to the central coast four years ago. While David was building a reputation in RV repair service, Stevie opened her first
deli and was hooked on serving the public.
She is very happy in her new location and anticipates being very involved in her new community.
Stevie would like to take this opportunity to invite you to her kitchen and share a meal in
the cozy comfort of her home style cafe.
